Sprint Bike -1995- for Vosschemie-RDM  :

Sprint Bike Design and fabrication : Design of adjustable glass fibre reïnforced moulds to allow variation in frame length, seat height and seat angle, so dedicated monocoque frames could be fabricated for each rider.

Nine month project from design to race-ready frame.  The frame consists  of a left and right 3mm pvc foam-carbon-epoxy sandwhich structure, glued together to form the ultrastiff monocoque construction. The demonstrator frame was especially built for Olympic sprinter Eric Schoefs, and presented at the Gent Six-Day event in 1995. Two local track records were broken by Schoefs, including the individual lap record of 8.95 sec. and the 500m with standing still start.
